Happy Birthday Card

What you will need…

  • A5 gold cardstock
  • fuchsia cardstock
  • purple cardstock
  • white cardstock
  • Grant Archival Clear Stamps – Floral Elements
  • Whispers Archival Ink pad – Rio Purple, Green Green, Port Wine & Rich Plum
  • Embossing powder – Glitter Purple, Purple, Red & Green
  • Heat gun
  • Fiskars Deckle paper edgers
  • Xyron Design Runner
  • Xyron Holiday Design Disc
  • Acrylic stamping block
  • Rangers Liquid Pearls – Platinum
  • Foam squares
  • Paper trimmer
  1. Score the gold cardstock down the centre and fold to form the card blank.
  2. Stamp a bouquet of flowers in a vase using the floral elements, emboss and heat embossing powder on white cardstock.
  3. Cut bouquet of flowers image using deckle paper edgers to approx 6.5×8.5cm.
  4. Cut purple cardstock to 9×10.5cm, attach stamped image to purple cardstock, on an angle.
  5. Attached purple cardstock to the gold blank card towards the top leaving about a 1cm on the top and on both left and right.
  6. Using the Xyron design runner with the Holiday disc, select “Happy Birthday” and print on a piece of white cardstock. Cut around “Happy Birthday” and cut using the deckle paper edgers, to about 7×2.5xm
  7. Attach to the fuchsia cardstock and trim down leaving 0.5cm border.
  8. Using foam squares, attached the fuchsia cardstock to the card on an angle on the bottom left hand of the card.
  9. Using Rangers Liquid Pearls, add 5 drops on the top left hand corners and 5 drops to the bottom right hand corner. Flick the back of the card, to flatten the drops. Allow to dry.
